Holiday Party

Thursday, December 06, 2012

Last night was our holiday party for work. I saved up during the day and indulged at night. I went over my calorie limit – although not by much.

But this time was different.

I went home and walked 1.5 miles - even though I was tired. And today I started a brand new day.

Now that’s progress!

In the past, going over the limit would’ve sent me into a binge of some sort and then I’d talk myself into starting again on Monday (and not follow through).

But this time was different.

I was looking forward to signing in and spinning the wheel again today.

Life is good.

Thank you, Sparkpeople. It's just 10 days with you... but is it too soon to say "I love you all!"?

We love you too! There will be those times you go over & it is hard during the holidays. But working out to counteract it was a great move!
