She inspired me to dig down and find my true motivation for joining SP and trying, once again, to get back to a health weight.
So I asked myself, "Self? Why do you want to lose weight? Why is this time different than all the rest?"
Well, Self, it's simple, really:
-Because I want to reduce my chances of developing Diabetes. Our family history is strong and I want the cycle to end with me.
-Because my life is not about me anymore. I have a husband and son who need me. I cannot be a burden to them. I need to be a blessing. I can't do that if I'm not at a healthy weight range.
-Because I want to be able to go shopping without worrying if they have my size.
-Because I need to prove to myself that I can do this.
-Because I want to inspire others.
