For 2012 I decided I needed to make some real changes in my health. My goals were to stop drinking sodas (diet especially), stop consuming aspartame, track my food, and exercise 5 times a week. I have accomplished all my goals except tracking my food. I have yo'ed yo'ed in my weight for the past year. I will lose 10 lbs and then gain back 5. Then gain back 5 more...so I have lost the same 10 lbs probably 5 times this past year. I decided to stop looking at the scale as my measurement, but I haven't really lost any inches either. So it is time to get serious about my eating habits. 2013 is quickly approaching and I have decided to make my goals for next year a little early. So my main goal for 2013 is to track my food everyday (even on weekends)!! Also cut out alcohol from my diet for the entire year. I don't drink that often but I do enjoy one too many cocktails when I do. So no more alcoholic beverages for 2013.
Okay that takes care of my food goals. Now my fitness goals:
1. Ski down Peak 9990 at the Canyons Mtn Resort efficiently
2. Learn to tree ski better
3. Mountain Bike the Moab by Memorial Day Weekend
4. Mountain Bike the Intermountain Trail by 4th of July
5. Compete in the 5k Devils Dash in August
Also I am setting a goal to blog my results each week. As of today my weight is at 171 lbs and my body fat is at 39.4%. It is time to become serious about making a healthy lifestyle change and this change requires eating better and being accountable.
