The good thing is that it is very clear what my new focus will be. I'm going to start counting the days I am within my calorie range; that will be a powerful streak to start! That will address my recent biggest fitness weakness. And I do need to cut back on my calorie range a bit (due to reduced calorie burning) so it will be even more challenging.
Part of the reason it is so clear is that I'm sitting here with two ice bags, one on my left inner ankle and one on the left side of my lower back. Just guess I overdid strength training (calf raises and back extensions??) yesterday. And since I'm not training for a particular race right now I've been picking up Gwen too much again. Oh, well. I'll think about more swimming, too.
Looking forward to this evening's meal with AQUAGIRL, her hubby, and maybe DKINSEY and a few more local Sparkers. I'm thinking I'll be well enough to run on Saturday. We'll see.
