You know what to do (see recent blogs if not). Post below.

As for me, I'm back in the game. Thank you gym membership. 3 lbs down, plus one in the bank. Good thing too, as next Friday we host the company holiday party in our home. Susan818127 is doing the cooking. Good time to have a pound (or more by then) in the bank!

    12-11 Maintaining 100 lbs. Have really had to make sure to drink enough water. AND the moderation thing. Went to a neighbor's holiday party. We all had to bring something nad I brought a veggie platter w/hummus. It was devoured. And I was so glad that I'd eaten before we left so I wasn't hungry. I just had some soup, but that was enough to satisfy. Good thing . . . there was almost NO healthy alternatives. But that's pretty much what I figured. DID allow for a glass of wine so we could toast. That was just fine.

    I'm still here for another week. Same weight as last week but I have pounds in the bank. It certainly would be nice if my efforts resulted in a downward drop of scale numbers. I think I can, I think I can ...

Speaking of scale numbers, my scale number does not get more accurate than half pounds. I'm tickled by all the VERY precise measurement numbers. I'm more likely to say "see you around 4 o'clock" and guesstimate the amount of onions in a recipe!

    OK, Week Three, confession time: I'm up 1.5 pounds. BUT I have a net loss of three pounds since we began this challenge, so I'm stayin'. So what have I learned this week? Let's see:

E - Eyeballing sometimes is just not the way to go, especially with calorie-laden stuff like cheese.

I- I am determined to see this challenge through to the bitter end.

G- Great to celebrate the holidays MINDFULLY.

H- Having fun with the Sparkers is part of weight loss. And thank you, Mark, for this round of originality and merriment.

T- Trying harder and not giving up is the way to go.

SW - 168
W1 - travel
W2 - 170 :-( I guess I'm directionally challenged
W3 - 168 but that puts me 3 behind so I've got some catching up to do.

    194.6 no doubt abnormally low. had to take a diuretic because I had two very salty meals and my BP shot up. but we are going for the overall loss of 8 pounds by christmas, right? right? right?

E - Every trip to the bathroom counts
I - If we don't try, the weight won't come off
G - Get away from food as often as possible
H - Have a treat now and then
T - Take care of other parts of you as well.

12/6 156 emoticon I will take the .8 lose since was my birthday week and have eaten out twice this week and another lunch out on Saturday thankful for weight in the bank and not on me emoticon see every one week and plan on a bigger loss

    congrats on your progress...
and thanks for the article on running.
I'm still convinced that the BIGGEST LOSER challenges which have these morbidly obese people running marathons are totally unhealthy. The impact to their joints alone must do damage. And I'm surprised they don't have heart attacks.

Kudos to you....I'm sure your party will be a blast
