it's always good to find a new way to reaffirm commitment to a healthy lifestyle. yesterday was the first day of my 62nd year, and we celebrated it with a great run. it was great because it was sunny, which doesn't seem to happen much, and above freezing, so no ice or snow to plow through or slip and slide. no resistance to getting out the door, which seems to make it tough so many other times. just a good day, a good run.
so what do i need to be accountable for here? i've tried so many times to commit to doing strength training and keeping up the miles. so here i go:
5 mile run
upper body video
11.6 walking =
567.4 miles running
993.3 miles walking (soon 1000!!)
i ordered the fitbit and am excited to have a new toy and a new source of motivation.
