If My Body Was A Car!

Thursday, December 06, 2012

If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've go bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull...But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it,
Almost ever time I sneeze, cough or sputter,
Either My Radiator Leaks or My Exhaust Backfires!

I thought your blog was going to be about the positives of being a car but with MS, I understand. I feel like this some day too. Pretty creative.

If *my* body was a car, I'd be in a heap of trouble - and probably junked's behaving similarly to my last piece of junk which was replaced due to continual overheating which could never be permanently fixed - yikes and gadzooks!

sounds like most of us, if we were cars. my paints been restored so many times, it acts as a barrier to dirt, my upholstery is well covered with slip covers, my wheels need new rims and an alignment wouldn't hurt.
