Finding a balance
Wednesday, December 05, 2012
Even though my schedule was overwhelmingly full and social life quite busy today. I actually found a balance between seeing to all my responsibilities and my need for relaxation and fun, and I still felt content in my soul today.
I worked a full eight hour day retuning to my old position in circulation because neither strapper could be there today. When you haven't done that in three months it's a physical work out challenge let me tell ya! Plus there were times in between when I was called away to do my present job to Talk about a high pressured multitasking day. But I pulled it off. Tired, exhausted I grabbed a very light supper and still went to the Gym for my hour and a half workout
Have you found that balance yet. If we consider our personal life, our professional life, and any instances where these two areas collide today, stop and ask yourself which items on your calendar can be rescheduled so that you can manage your time more efficiently.
Finding a balance between what we have to do and what we want to do helps achieve blissful harmony. When we make time for both parts of our lives, we donít ever need to feel like we are neglecting one for the other or that something is lacking. We can actually fulfill our obligations to work and relationships while having enough time to satisfy the needs of our souls. Our souls are at peace as we work and play because we are more secure in the knowledge that we have created ample time for both. We never have to work or play halfheartedly because we are trying to do both things at once. So, embrace the philosophy of balance today, and you will feel like you are in harmony with life.
