Little goals achieved build passion

Wednesday, December 05, 2012

I am starting over and even though I had small goals, I did not let go my old goals. I said my new goal was 10 minutes on a stationary bike, but I was miserable trying to do 30 minutes. I felt so frustrated. Then I realized the spark way is to move with enjoyment. So I stopped and celebrated I did 20 minutes instead of just 10. Bottom line is joy and small successes make you work harder then force and misery. Embrace the spark way. emoticon emoticon

You are so right - all too often we make goals that make us miserable and who wouldn't want to quit when they are miserable all the time? Make goals that help you FEEL successful and allow you the chance to not only achieve them but exceed them.

Very true! Way to go on starting over. I'm doing the same.
