I walked 15.4 miles today. Cooper walked 11.8 miles of that with me. He is such a buff little dog. I don't have to worry about HIM getting fat if we keep this up! That mileage was over four walks... three with the dog, one with a human companion. I did most of the longer route I was thinking of yesterday with Cooper in tow. He doesn't even seem especially tired, though he has taken himself off to bed already. I was thinking of doing ST today, but I think I will do it tomorrow, since 1. I did some yesterday, and 2. I won't have as much time to walk tomorrow. I have company coming over tomorrow, which will cut into our morning walk time. The dog probably won't mind. lol I AM thinking though of taking him with me for the longest route I have planned. He kept up really well today. I think I would take him for very short walks the day after that. He is game, but he is only 12 pounds. I think I will be getting the doggy pedometer sometime soon. I just want to know how many more steps than me he takes. It must be a ton!
I was on track with my nutrition today. I haven't checked the final analysis yet, but I haven't had my evening snack yet, and I have quite a few calories left to play with. I like to have a snack in the late evening so that I don't go to bed hungry, because if I do I get up in the middle of the night and eat anything and everything! I don't make the best food choices when I am half asleep.
I have increased my water intake this month and I am finding my skin is happier with me than it was before. I have been drinking a gallon+ on a daily basis. Means I have to pee a lot, but I can deal with that. I just wait until after our long morning walk before I start guzzling down the water. That could be bad otherwise.
