Still crushing it!
I was cooking dinner tonight... making an embarassing comfort-food recipe from my childhood. It's not the healthiest thing in the world, but I measured everything, tracked it, only ate a serving size that would fit in my daily calories, and ate a pile of veggies on the side.
I won't gross you out overly, but relevant to the story is the fact that the sauce for said embarassment is... Campbell's condensed tomato soup. (I know. Pasta blasphemy. Shhh.)
I got 1 can but it turned out to be not enough sauce for the whole pan. So I called the husby, hoping he was on his way home and would pick me up another can at the corner store.
Nope! Not on his way yet. Boooo!
Now, historically, I'm super lazy. Especially in winter! I come home, change out of work clothes, and get under a blanket. I don't even like to get up to go to BED. (I have been known to get around this by getting in bed as soon as I get home. I may have on occasion eaten take out brought to me by the husby IN BED, to avoid leaving my blanket cocoon or expending any sort of energy whatsoever.)
Tonight? I put on shoes. And a sweatshirt.
I went OUTSIDE.
I crossed the STREET.
I bought my OWN %$#@ can of soup.
I live on the third floor! I had to CLIMB STAIRS to come back! I already did that when I came home, yet I did it again, voluntarily. I didn't even whine.
I amaze me.

Another good day for water, protein, sodium, and veggies! Not quite as good for fiber, but that's because today is the first day I DIDN'T have a fiber bar for a snack, so I guess I've sort of been cheating. Fitness was also good. Let's see how long I can keep the momentum!
