I personally need to manage calories. Not everyone does, but I do. And it is tricky, because on one hand I need to get them fairly low to lose any weight at all, and on the other if they are too low it triggers migraines.
Now that I am on thryoid meds, I seem to be able to lose weight slowly if I can get around 1300-1400 calories.
And today I think I am going to hit that for the first time since being back on SP!
My BIG success is being consistent in tracking food, exercising, and being on SP each day. If I can hit 1300-1400 calories most days, I will start losing weight and that will be a success.
