My schedule is hot mess right now. I won't working a "normal" week except once this month, we will be out of town 1 weekend, have 1 overnight date reserved, 2 additional family Christmas get togethers (1 of which involves another overnight stay) and I'm trying my darndest to stay on track in the midst of it all. My family is supportive and has gotten MUCH better about food-pushing, so it's up to me to make good choices and keep up with my exercise.
I'm going tomorrow to buy the remainders of the gifts,etc. we need for the first of the festivities this weekend (the full weekend out-of-town). The weekend also happens to include DS's 13th birthday, so we will be going out for that as well. I love all the celebrating, but I don't want to be thinking about food all weekend...neither what I want or what I "shouldn't" have. Here's to balance and joy, my key words for the weekend. May the blessings of my amazing son and celebrating the birth of my wonderful Savior with my great family be the focus that brings balance and joy to the weekend!
