Looks like another couch day for me.

Wednesday, December 05, 2012

Still under the weather. I sure wish I could figure out why my body decides to go into this whole dehydration thing. My eyes burn and I have no energy. I am going to give it another day before calling for an IV. It's just a weird feeling for sure. Again at least I know what to do to make myself well again if I have to. Just hate going on an IV.
So it is a couch day for me.
hope all my sparks buddies are doing great
make it a great day.

I hope you are feeling better today! Have you tracked these episodes in a journal? Then maybe you could go back and see if there might be a trigger. Either food, drink, or even exposure to a certain place. I sure hope you will find the answer.

emoticon So sorry to hear you are not feeling well.
I hope with some rest that you will soon get back to good
health. Did you eat anything different? emoticon

Do eyedrops help with the eye-burning sensation? Hope that the electrolytes-by-beverage plus homeopathic remedies do the trick, but mostly I hope you get resolution without the problem worsening. A little time on the IV beats taking chances. Am wondering whether there is a way to monitor enzyme levels so you know they're dipping before symptoms emerge.

Feel better soon!

I hope your husband is supportive of you.Sally you are one for the medical text books!!! Rest comfortable & don't let it go too far as the kidneys do not do well when you are dehydrated.

Yikes - sounds like you should be on an episode of "Medical Mysteries". Hope you're better soon.

Rest and heal, Sallie. Hoping that some day your mystery is solved and that your day of rest does the trick this time.

I hope you didn't pick up some rare disease moving down there. I had a friend who wintered in Mexico and developed an infection of some kind that killed him from sepsis in his blood. They couldn't figure out what it was in the end :( Is medical care there as good as it is in the US? Would you be better off going to one of those big US hospitals (like Mayo) for investigation? It would sure be nice to know what is happening to you. So sorry you have to deal with this..
Feel better soon..

Good that you are able to rest, and maybe read?

I hope the rest will help and you will not have to go on the IV. Very puzzling how this happens to you. Good luck. We are thinking of you.

I had to back up to read a couple other blogs. That IS an unusual condition. May the Lord grant wisdom and revelation! May the IV, if necessary, do its work to restore you.

I was intrigued to see you retired to Mexico. For myself, when I retire, my hope is to move to Peru where I've gone on short-term missions and made a lot of friends. Shel
