Fit Bit first day

Tuesday, December 04, 2012

First day for my fit use. I couldn't wait to get it.
I have an active job and most days can get in at least 10,000 during the school year. It is my days off that I don't move near as much so hope this will inspire me to do so.

Today was our special Christmas Dinner at work for the college kids and I worked 10 hours not including my break. then I stayed and had some Christmas dinner, Only comes around once a year. They do it right with prime rib, fried shrimp, egg nog, hot cider,.... I enjoyed myself but didn't stuff myself either. I ate on the light side the past 2 days so I could enjoy and not worry.
so far I have walked over 23,000 steps today and I did 7 flights of stairs. But hey- I am under 5 foot so it takes me more steps to go the same distance as a 6' person.

So far I love I love my fitbit one- . you don't even notice that it is there. I wear it on the inside of my bra because I don't want to loose it. curious to find out about the sleep part.

If any of my spark friends have one I would love to connect with on on Fitbit also- so let me know.

All that I know about the Fitbit is that it's supposed to measure your steps and all the calories you burn. That's why you're supposed to wear it while you sleep.

Dear Spark Friend, WOW someone else under 5' Glad to meet you. It sure is hard keeping the weight off these short bodies isn't it? emoticon Not much room there to put extra weight.
Now I have to ask; what is a Fitbit?

Awesome! There is a Fitbit sparkteam also with a section for people who want to connect on Fitbit. I just got mine about a week ago and also love it. I haven't connected with anyone else yet, just read the post.
