Today, visualize yourself in your favorite place in the world, whether it's your bedroom or a far-off country. Breathe deeply and take in all the positive energy from that place to carry with you today. How can you use some of that good energy to help you reach your goals?
My favorite place is the walking trail where I lived before. I felt happy and energized as I walked along, noting the seasonal changes. It didn't feel I was exercising but doing something fun with my dog. I enjoyed seeing flowers, sunshine and feeling the changes in elevation as I walked.
We flew to Edmonton for 5 days - lots of Christmas visits with family and friends. Yes there was lots of tasty foods and lots of sitting and talking.
I came home motivated to get back on track and am so happy to have other sources of motivation today. My friend Sue phoned to ask if I go to the gym and what I do there. She is looking for a little nudge to get going, so I will let her know what days I am going and meet her there. She lives across the street and we could go together but I am pushing myself to go shopping and run errands after the gym. I let her know about SparkPeople so she can get started here and see the great information about diets, exercise, motivation, etc.
Then I stopped by to Spark for a few minutes and read BOBCATGIRL76's wonderful blog, about her 91 pound weight loss in a year. She is amazing!
I will execise daily and track my calories. I will make each day in December count!
