16lbs lost!
it's doctor official. however i'm a bit disappointed that i haven't lost any weight since last Thursday.... but i'm still going to weigh in this Thursday and record it like normal. i'll also be doing my first measurements... i hope some have changed for the better!
so. i was thinking. i don't get yoga. i tried it. i didn't hate it. but.. i just didn't get much of a workout from it... and sparkpeople seems to agree with me as far as calories burned. i think i'll leave that stuff to the trendies and keep my kickboxing and weight training. at least i sweat and FEEL that stuff work.
happy tuesday :)

Congratulations on the 16! Way to go!

Yoga is stretching, not cardio (unless you do 30 minutes of sun salutations or something). I also use it as a form of centering and meditation, but I'd never count it on my fitness tracker, except as a gentle stretching exercise. I love it, but I'd never use it instead of my gym workout. Instead, it's a once-a-week "just for me" activity that keeps me mellow and happy.

    Keep up the great work!

Yoga isn't a cardio or strength training workout. But it's great for flexibility and balance training. Lots of people find it relaxing, including me. I love yoga but I use it to stretch and cool down from my "real" workout usually. Namaste.

Congrats on the 16 pounds lost. AMAZING!!!
