This past year has been a tumultuous one to say the least! I'm still working on getting divorced, I had lap band surgery, I finished graduate school, and I've lost a decent amount of weight. I feel fortunate to have not gained weight, and that my depression is still under control.
My goal for the coming year is to get exercising on a regular basis. I just got a new job downtown, which I'm jazzed about! I'm hoping that the consistency of my new schedule will help me get a regular workout ritual going. I'm planning to start riding my bike to work when the weather improves.. I'm a fair-weather cyclist.. and I think I'll attempt to do the morning workout thing at the gym downtown.
I'm not sure what it will look like right now, but I'm definitely working on figuring it all out. I need to start counting calories again, too. I think I could have lost more this year, but I'm not going to worry about the past. I am trying to just focus on today and tomorrow.. Just keep on doing the best I can. The results will come in time.
