I'm having a very hard time keeping track of my days it seems PHEW!! I also feel like a broken record because I KNOW I am ALWAYS saying that LOL. At least I can report that amidst all the chaos called my life I have managed to maintain my weight and for that I am thrilled. I feel like maintenance mode is finally here to stay! We've drastically reduced our eating out, we're shopping healthy, I'm cooking and batch cooking frequently, packing food and snacks. So yes, life is GOOD!!
Its been a few weeks since my las blog so I thought I'd post a little blog update.
We have an addition to our family. We named her Zooey and she is an absolute DOLL!! Happy and her and truly little love birds!
I volunteered for hubby's EMT class to be a "victim." That was a fun day filled with be brinigng back my acting skills from high school drama club! (I was an attempted suicide/overdose/very difficult non-cooperative patient LOL... Lets just say I took a lot of liberties with my character and gave the students a real lesson!). Hubby was a motorcycle accident victim.
I took a trip to Flagstaff to check on the progress with my Mom & Dad's second home. Its going to be so gorgeous. This is a view of their soon to be back porch.
I had a great thanksgiving with my family. Took a few new shots.
Tailgated at the Cardinals game with a huge group of friends. Grilled turkey burgers and only had a few beers. Mission accomplished!
I treated myself early to what is my Christmas present. I got the Kindle Fire HD. I am obsessed and IN LOVE! I've had it two weeks and already I've ready the first two Hunger Games books (AWESOME btw) and 4 other books. The only way I've found time to do so though is because it reads the books to you, so I listen while I work :)
We successfully got our tree trimed and house lights up.
I co-hosted a friends baby shower. I made her a motorcycle made of baby items and diapers with a monkey on top. It was a duck themed shower, and I contributed a cute fruit platter. Gotta keep it healthy :)
We successfully found homes for all of the foster kittens, but still need to find a home for the mama. Not ONE bite off of her either, and I'm kind of surprised. She's quite exotic looking, so sweet, and only a year or so old. Sigh.. everyone wants kittens though.
And last but not least we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on the 27th of November. Hard to imagine its already been 8 years. It honestly feels like just yesterday we started dating!
Anyways, that's all I have time for now. Back to work I go. I hope all my spark friends are doing well!
