This is one of the feature articles today...so I thought I'd answer it myself because I always like these things, and seeing others' responses too!
In my fridge you'll always find:
water, freggies and yogurt
My favorite go-to exercise:
fitness dvds, walking/hiking
When I usually work out:
right after work
My biggest temptation/obstacle:
sweets, and salty things. I don't buy unhealthy so I won't be tempted. Other obstacles are feeling too tired or giving in with my boyfriend to indulge (he'll say to me, but dear, we haven't had pizza in forever! its okay...)
Favorite trick for staying motivated:
knowing I'll regret it if I don't work out! knowing its good for me. knowing it will pay off. because I'm testing myself to see how fit I really can be.
In my home gym you'll find:
lots of fitness dvds, weights, resistance bands, yoga mat
In the grocery store, I usually head for ___ first:
well the way grocery stores are usually set up is produce first. So I usually stock up on all freggies and then get whatever else I need specifically from my list.
My personal motto is:
If you don't like something, do something about it. I can't stress this enough. I have a pet peeve with people who make excuses all the time or blame things beyond themselves, when they really do have some control over a situation. I know you can't control everything, but if there's something you can do, do it, and don't complain about why you're unhappy. This applies pretty much everywhere in life; if you don't like your job, do something about it, if you aren't happy with your relationships, try to fix them, if you don't like your body, work on it.
