Well for the past 3 days I have met my goals. I have done my 10 minutes of exercising and I have also made sure to drink 1 smoothie every day as well as 10-12 cups of water every day. I woke up fairly early this morning or at least much earlier than I usually wake up and I didn't wake up feeling exhausted. I mean sure the tiredness came on about an hour and a half after I woke up but then hey I am 34 weeks pregnant and being tired is not really all that unusual.
I have started to keep a journal so I can keep track of what days I have done what. I tried to journal before but could never keep at it because I thought I had to write about my whole day everyday, but I guess not. I just write down what I feel I need to. I also started rereading The Spark. I bought and read it at the end of last year but then I forgot about it. I just found it again since we are still in the process of unpacking after our most recent move, and I had forgotten so much of what I had read that It is like I am reading it for the first time again.
Before now I always felt that 10 minutes wouldn't get me anywhere, that I had to work out and burn thousands of calories at a time but all that did was burn me out really quick. I tend to push to hard to fast but since I am pregnant I don't have that option just now. Which makes it perfect to start again right now so that by the time the baby comes I will be set into this new and healthier habit. I will still have to take it fairly easy after I deliver simply for the sake that my body will be recovering and weak. But if my doctors okay it I still want to try and walk for at least those 10 minutes everyday even during the 6 weeks of recovery time.
