Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing well! Been a while since I BLOGGED, so thought I'd get caught up.
Spent that with my in-law family. It went pretty good. Was happy that hubby want to go shopping (Black Thursday... aaagghh), so we left at a good time. My husband's oldest brother and him didn't get a long for years... due to his drinking... but for this past few years it has been better and they are growing closer. I'm very happy about that. It was great talking with him at Thanksgiving. I'm very proud of him... he stopped drinking, and is doing very well!
The day AFTER Thanksgiving...
This was always when my family would celebrate "Turkey day". My sister and her family are still in South Korea, so these last few years has been just my parents and my family. We had a great day and the turkey was very yummy and ready on time... hee hee.
The start of the Holiday season! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year! I do hate the snow, but again, we've been lucky so far. (wink) I love family together and just most people all happy and merry! To my family, Christmas isn't about the gifts, but the gift of Jesus! Yes, we do, do the "santa" part, but I make sure my cubs know what the season is really about!
Our tree and some outdoor decorations are up and the house is looking festive! Whatever you all celebrate, I wish you a very happy, Merry, safe, and Blessed season! Merry Christmas!!!
So my MIL sent me an e-mail reminding my family about the holidays and what my SIL wrote down for me to make / bring for those days.
I don't know if it's the season, or all the love my favorite Sparks team (AMC) has been giving off lately, but I felt the need to e-mail her back with how I feel. I'll save you all the babble, but basically I said I wanted to move on. I wanted her to know I was very hurt from everything that has happened these past years, but want to move on and grow our relationship in the positive way I thought it was in the past.
My husband would be so mad to know I sent the e-mail, but it's me! It's what I do! I have to talk it out, let people know how I feel and move on. He likes to hold on to the past and stuff like that... I don't. So in a nice way I told her how I have felt. We'll see what happens with it all. I guess the only thing that would make me mad would be if she ignores it. I work out problems, not ignore them! Who knows... I'll keep you all posted, hee hee.
As for right now, I'm going to do like a fellow Sparkie friend does at the end of some of her blogs. List what I'm Thankful for!
