I couldn't come up with a better name for today. I stepped on the scale as I intended to. I thought about skipping it but then I figured, if I skip it, I won't have a baseline for December. So, the dreaded scale. emoticon

I am hoping that this gain is just from water weight. The past few days have been going better. I have been being more conscious about my choices. I haven't cut out any foods or anything but trying to be more mindful. I haven't had soda since Saturday. I have been drinking more water. I didn't get enough veggies and fruits yesterday but this is a work in progress. I did get in two glasses of green tea yesterday as well which is good. (Trent - did you do this too?)

My goal on December 31st is still 145. I am hoping that I can lose the 4.4 pound fairly quickly if they are water weight and therefore the 145 goal is much more attainable. I didn't measure today because I didn't have time but I will do that this week too just to get a baseline for the month.

Today's plan:
Breakfast was a yogurt & banana.
Snack will be grapes.
Lunch will be two slices of pizza.
Snack will be coleslaw and carrots.
Dinner will be a crock pot meal of ground turkey, diced tomatoes, velveeta and rice. I think it will turn out okay. I hope so since it's just a bunch of stuff that I threw together.

    Stick by your goals and you'll find that you can do this, especially if you make it thru the holidays. Making a plan and putting yourself first is the most important step.

    I agree that it's probably water weight. Just stay focused and keep planning.

    I have a strong feeling that it's just water weight like you say. Just take it a day at a time with being mindful and you'll be doing great. You probably are taking into account already, but I know that you can't exercise like you were doing. That will play tricks on you too so that you may have to drink 10 glasses of water and for sure, your 5 freggies. Our bodies are just down-right a pc. of science, aren't they? Ha, what a job it is to figure ourselves out! Remember too, that you're a work in process, that you're transforming from an unhealthy person to a healthy person! It takes us more than a day, or month, etc. to get where we got, so now it's going to take quite a few days, months to get if back off. You don't have near to go as I do, so I know you can do it and you'll get to 145# by Dec. 31st! emoticon emoticon
