I sure like the Ninja! I can't wait to use all the different parts. I am sure that we will find it very useful. I got the recipe book for it and I am going to take some time to check out the recipes.

If you have any good lentil recipes, please share. emoticon

I am looking forward to a great December! Are YOU???

Much Love

I do not care for lentils. I know a lot of people think they're great. I understand there are different colors. I used the brown ones.
Peel and slice thin 2 sweet potatoes
Ditto one gala apple.
Layer them in a casserole.
Mix 1/2 c. applesauce w 1/2 c. water
Pour over the potatoes
Sprinkle w 1/2 t. cinnamon
Cover and bake 40 min. at 400 degrees

Even better than it sounds.
Be sure the potatoes are tender.

Do I get birthday pics?

Please, please be careful. The blades are crazy sharp. My husband dropped his new, sharp Ninja blade on his foot Sunday afternoon. Today, he had surgery to reattach the tendon on his foot.

Crazy, right?

Enjoy the Ninja!!! Sounds like fun - and juicing is very good for you!

Sweet potatos are so yummy! Try cutting them into strips like french fries and baking in the oven with some salt (if you allow yourself any) and sprayed with some no-calorie cooking spray. MMMM-mmmmm!!!!

Try looking on the SP Recipe site to see what recipes they have for lentils. They are excellent in soups!!!

Keep moving forward!

I had SUCH a different image in my mind when I read the title of the vlog...lolol....a hooded and masked avenger appeared! BUT I am thrilled that you got a new tool!! It is very exciting to try new things!!
for trying sweet potatoes! I love them baked! I use real butter, a small baked potato, and split 1 tablespoon of butter between the 2 halves. SO yummy! I also like to add sweet potato to a veggie platter. Just peel it and slice it into thin rounds. It's a great addition to the usual things and it tastes good, too! Lentils I am not experienced with cooking on my own. I usually use a boxed mix, but I've had them with wild rice and diced carrots and it's very good. Have fun experimenting with the Ninja and lentils!!

    U can do this!!

I wud look up Moroccan and INdian recipes for Lentils..its known as DAL in Indian...

My favorite recipe is

if u have a pressure cooker or slow cooker...Put any veggies u like that taste good in a stew..add some lentils, salt, chilli powder, some tamarind concentrate (or u cud add some lemon juice in the end) and a tiny dash of sugar and let it tastes so good....u cud add fresh black pepper to it too...

That is so exciting! New toys can be so much fun! I asked for a slice o matic for xmas last year and I was not amused. But see, you aren't the only one who asks for stuff like that. ;) It sounds like there are a ton of functions and you really thought it out, love it! emoticon

Eek, your poor daughter, she definitely has a lot going on. I have rheumatoid arthritis too, we are RA buddies. :) But I'm sorry to hear she has so much with her health, eek. :( I like that you thought about her health as well in your present picking!
