I decided a few days ago to start counting down the year again as I had started at the beginning of 2012. It feels good to do it knowing that there are just 28 more days of 2012.
December 2012 is starting out to be a great month. The struggles I've had in the past with fitness seems to be null at this point. I LOVE going to the gym. I look forward to my 3 days a week at the gym. I've thought about making it 5 days a week but I don't see how I can fit it in my schedule so for now it's 3 days a week. Very manageable. (Hubby called today "Mystery Monday") Well, my biggest mystery is how I went from hating to sweat to loving it!
I love going to the gym so much that I wasn't even discouraged today when I had to go by myself because the kids were out of school. I guess you could say that since I was on my own today I had to prove to myself how capable I really am.
Am I capable? OH YEAH!!! The elliptical was my friend today. 2.02 miles in 25 minutes, super proud of myself for that. Yes, Paul did more, but that's okay because well, it just is. I did 40 squats today, 20 walking lunges (owie), 3 planks on stability ball at 20 seconds each, plus I did 4 miles in 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. I was dripping sweat which is something I have never really done from exercising until I joined this gym. I actually like it...I mean, it's gross and all but the sweatier I am, the harder my workout was. That's the whole point in my opinion.
