Hello all! I've been thinking of all you lovely sparklers out there kicking butt while I've been somewhat absent. Everything happened in such a whirlwind that logging on here everyday was often just not feasible. But I here now and hoping to be a more regular community member again.
So I have a week and a day at my new job done and am loving it so far! Very fun and relaxed environment. Though there lies a small obstacle in the fact that they keep on hand TONS of food and drink. A lot of it is pretty healthy, but it is still something I am keeping very vigilant about, especially since I haven't been tracking calories. So far it's been going well in that regard. Another thankfully short-term obstacle is that I currently drive a hour to and from work. This is just until I can move into my new apartment on the 16th, but it has created a bit of an exercise issue since I'm usually too tired before or after work to do much. I did get in 3 walks last week so i hoping to do the same if not better this week.
I have been successful in sticking within about a 1 pound range which I think is good since my goal was basically to just stay steady during this transition. Excitingly I went on a jean hunt this weekend and bought a pair of size 12 jeans that fit PERFECTLY. I've lost 2 sizes! Now these were kohls jeans, so maybe ran a little bigger anyway, but I am counting it!
Keep at it sparkers! You all motivate me!
