Day 3 and Going Strong!

Day 3 of my 31 Day Challenge, and going strong!

Sunday was D2, and the day started off early by waking up and watching TLC for hours... emoticon It seemed like a good idea at the time... But I was at the grocery store by 10am, and done by 11 with groceries for the week. I spent 2 hours working on my Christmas Stockings, which you can read about at the below link! Yes, I am back to posting at my public blog again :)

Afterwards, I made a pinterest recipe for Rigatoni in a Blush Sauce with Chicken and Bacon. Its super yummy, but a bit high in calories. That seems to be the problem with recipes I recreate from pinterest. I will have to be a bit smarter next time when making ingredient substitutions. Then I threw together a meatloaf and cooked in my slowcooker. OMG delicious. I really just used whatever I had on hand, and I cannot get over how moist it was! I am set for meals for the week now :) Oh, and I baked some peanut butter, chocolate chip granola. Yum!

I knew I needed to get in a workout, but I wasnt feeling it. But how could I skimp out on a workout on only Day 2??? So, I did a 20 minute pilates workout focusing on the back and abs. It was good, and helped my back feel a bit better after sewing for a few hours earlier in the day.

Last night I slept like I was dead, and I was not amused to wake up in the morning. Especially because my base's big inspection starts today. So needless to say, I did not work out this morning. However, after work my 4 new dvds were waiting on my porch for me when I returned home!!

I opted to do 10 Minute Solution's Rapid Fast Loss Cardio..or something like that. It looked fun. And OMG it was really fun!! And it was no joke! There are five 10 minute workouts, and you can choose to do them all at once, just one, or custom make your own workout. I chose to custom make a 30 minute workout, and chose the Sports Drills, Cardio Interval, and Low-Impact Cardio. The Sports Drills were my favorite! It got my heart rate up quickly, and I just really enjoyed it. The Cardio Intervals were serious! But not as tough on my knees as TurboFire's HIIT workouts are. I was profusely sweating after this one! The Low-Impact was my least favorite, but still fun. I just felt extremely uncoordinated (and I was a dancer for like 19 years!!), but it's been a while. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in the future. This is the first 10 Minute Solution I've tried, but I hope they are all this fun. I am excited to see what I will do tomorrow!

    When on Pinterest, I always search healthy foods, low cholesterol etc and I have found some getting great tasting and easy recipes. I might have to try that DVD 10 Minute Solution's Rapid Fast Loss Cardio!

    I just gaze at the recipe's on Pinterest, never venture into the Kitchen to make any of it. I used to do those 10 minute workout DVD's but misplaced them during one of my moves. Keep it up.
