Hmm, not starting out strong this week

Monday, December 03, 2012

Well, even though my plan was to get to the gym, I opted to stay home. Avery (my son) was not feeling great and Athen(husband) was even saying his sinuses were bugging him. And Erica (daughter), well she was just her normal go with the flow self. She could really not care less about what goes on as long as she is with me lol. So I figured it was a sign that I should take it easy. And we are.

Tomorrow is already looking like a bad day for the gym as well...but for a decent reason. We missed the Christmas parade for one town this last weekend from all being sick. Erica was supposed to be in it with her dance school and Avery and I were going to be in it for Athen and my job (my boss and his boss are married and the two companies are a really big deal around here). So now we can all be in the Christmas parade for the town we live in for the same reasons...Erica with dance and Athen, Avery and I for our jobs. If I can get to the gym before I will do it but come on...can you blame me for missing? I mean it would be for my first ever parade participation :)

Ok, off to watch the game.

Sounds like the family could easily come down with something and getting some rest sounds prudent.

The parade sounds wonderful. Enjoy!

Can't blame you for having a life, and a good one at that! You'll get around to it! All that moving around is also good exercise, as long as you are moving and not being sedentary like how I am some of the days, stuck in front of the computer. Lucky for me I got this Coffee Break application which tells me every 30 minutes to get up for a coffee break for 10 minutes, so it does help, unless I'm really busy and it gets annoying when I want to do my work and not get up and walk around!

Enjoy the Parade - after all it is the festive season!

Well, darn. Life does have a way of messing up our plans. I've learned that I have to be flexible, because half of the time things just won't work out the way I planned. Can you exercise at home when you can't get to the gym? Just doing something is better than nothing. And then you can claim it as a vitory!

Have fun in the parade. It will be even more fun that you get to do it as a family! And hope the weather is good!
