I'm feeling proud of myself because I got my rear in gear and did a couple of short, fun, fast walking workouts when I got home from work today. About halfway through, I realized that it was getting dark out, and my living room curtains were open. I have a picture window that looks out onto a busy street with a traffic light nearby, and there is often a line of traffic outside my house, waiting for the light to change. As I hustled and huffed and puffed with Amy Dixon, I realized that my living room window probably looked like a lit-up TV screen with me jumping around in my workout gear. I almost stopped and pulled the curtains, but then I thought, "No way! I am setting a good example for these people. Maybe they'll go home and realize they can work out too!"
