Didn't take long....

Well I fell off...the wagon drove off and left me. It only took me a couple weeks to get off track. I am not going to let it stop me though. Tomorrow I am getting started back up and getting back to where I need to be. Hopefully I get the treadmill set up this week also. I will probably weigh myself tomorrow even though I am afraid to. Crossing my fingers I didn't ruin my progress.

Part of my problem is I feel like I am always STARVING...I am trying to do the smaller meals thing and it was obviously working. I just need to be patient and wait for my body to get used to eating smaller amounts or get some more food in. (Which isn't always easy at work) I just have to get it figured out. I can do it. I will do it!

    Me too... if I'm going to be perfectly honest. Except I'm up three pounds from the start of November...

    My problem is weekends and nighttime snacking...

    Every day is another chance. You can do this...

    Listen to your body as much as you can. Being hungry is a cue. It has a lot to do with what you're thinking. It may be a minute by minute struggle at first but in no time you'll start feeling the changes your scale might say aren't happening very quickly.

    Also remember that you'll lose more initially then the weight seems to never change no matter how hard your try. Just stick with what has worked and eventually you'll see results.

    Try changing your mindset about it. Tell yourself that you are "satiated" not trying to be full. Don't let yourself *think* that you're hungry. I swear our brains are so much more powerful than we give them credit for. I quit drinking a Coke a day cold turkey because I simply told myself I did not NEED a Coke to get through the day. And the only day I got a headache was because I had a super high sugar bakery cookie that threw my system off. You Can Do This!!!

    Smaller meals and the right combinations of carbs and protein should do it. Be patient. ( I know it's not easy). emoticon
