What a busy weekend! Friday I... gosh, I can't even remember what I did on Friday! Oh, yes, the hubs and I had date night. The kiddos stayed at his parent's house because one had to be at church until 11pm and that is right down the street from the in-laws. Scott worked a half day on Saturday and I ran a bunch of errands. I had to get my blood drawn, and was required to fast, so I did that first thing in the morning. Then went to see my mom and pick up some clothes (ones that FIT!) that I had sent to her house. After that I did some shopping for boots - still can't find any I love!
Then I met the family at home and we made sugar cookies that the kids decorated. I had 1 - 1/2 cookies - I think that's a fair amount! I sent all but 4 of them home with the kids so that they aren't hanging around the house! Sunday was catching up on housework. Scott stayed home today to do some more housework and get things in order. Plus, he has vacation time to use and he worked all weekend.
I really need to get back to things. I've been saying it for weeks. I haven't been HORRIBLE, but I haven't been good. I am still going to the gym, just not 5 days a week like I was. And since traffic is worse this time of year I have less time at the gym. By the time I get home I just don't want to workout. I have been tracking my eating here and there, but not daily. I am still trying to be good about what I eat but it seems like it's much harder lately.
We have our 5k next week.... Man, that got here quick! I need to make sure to get some run time in this week so I'm not COMPLETELY off the running wagon for the race! I am REALLY hoping for under 30 minutes, but I don't know if that will happen. I just want to do well! I need to figure out my outfit for the race too... I have thigh high socks, red and white striped. But the rest of my workout clothes are the wrong colors for this race! I need to figure that out this week. Yikes!!
Anyway, both my husband and I are feeling the effects of not being on track (him much worse than myself). I tried on my new work pants that I ordered. They fit great, but I fear they will be too tight for sitting all day. They are fine when I am standing! I may need to lose a few more pounds... But, I'm not sure what I'm weighing in at right now. I didn't weigh all weekend and before that I was retaining water - so who knows! I shall find out tomorrow.
