Today is Day 33 - still sick (sigh)
Recap - Day 31 & 32
Calories: 2135 and 1495. Being sick stinks. All I want to do is eat. And sleep. Repeat.
Exercise: Non-existent. I walked the parade route with my Girl Scouts on day 31. Otherwise, I was a slug - sleep, eat, repeat.
I'm not really upset - just disappointed that I don't feel better. I really want to get things moving, and this cold/bug whatever it is - it's really slowing me down.
Posting pictures of the Christmas
parade as promised (We were milk and cookies!)
The girls made their costumes themselves - and yes, I made mine too (confession - I DO NOT sew - lol, it was definitely interesting!) We had a lot of fun. You can't see the back of their cookies, but they each wrote a note to Santa. One of the girls wrote "Dear Santa - please don't eat me, I've been a good cookie this year". That cracked me up! My daughter is the one on the left. I'm the "milk".
Also, I owe you a picture from my ballroom dancing last Friday (Nov 29th). The theme was Spain - so here's my picture:
Some of you might recognize the dress from last year - It's on my main page. Funny thing though - (NSV coming - ) Even though I weigh more than I did in the picture on my front page, the dress fits looser this year. So I'm reshaping my body even if the weight isn't coming off.
Santa Day is STILL on track, in spite of being sick and not getting to do all the things I have planned.
Cool thing: On Sunday my daughter competed in another swim meet. She swam the 200 IM (that's 8 lengths of the pool) - 50 yards as butterfly, 50 yards as backstroke, 50 yards as breaststroke, and 50 yard crawl/free. She did AWESOME - and dropped 24 seconds off her best time!!! I'm so proud.
Plan for Day 33 -
Today was a workout with Trainer #8 - I am going to have to pass. I just don't have the stamina today. YES, I'M BUMMED. But I need to get better. I hope to take a light walk this afternoon.
Tonight is the Girl Scout Leaders holiday meeting - the one where I am having the "healthy" buffet. I'm really looking forward to this and hope that people enjoy it.
That's about it for today, everyone. Keep up the good work.
