Today is Monday, the day I always "started my diet" in the past. Since I've been maintaining with Sparkpeople for 5 1/2 years now I don't "diet" any more. I just keep track of calories and exercise on Sparkpeople and try to keep up a healthy lifestyle. However, the last week has been a challenge for me and I've ended up by gaining 5 lbs in a week. I know exactly how I did it. Last Monday, my husband and I took a quick trip to Georgia because of the sudden death of his sister. You know how it is when the whole family gets together and all the friends and neighbors bring in beautiful casseroles, breads and desserts. I ended up eating more than I should and I had to miss my usual Jazzercize and yoga and walking. Sooo, today I get back on track and hope to get off those 5 lbs quickly. I'll let you know next Monday how well I did.
