Today was my first morning workout in awhile. I've always used the morning for workouts long before, but lately I've been doing workouts after work. I have to admit, it's nice doing a workout later in the day and getting to sleep in.
However, I missed many "planned" workouts because of various reasons which is one major reason I don't do workouts late in the day. Plus last week I had major food poisoning so I was sleeping in later than usual each day. I really need to get back on track as I am leading a big group of members doing the new Les Mills COMBAT on Jan 2 at Facebook.
Today's morning workout was a favorite of mine: Medicine Ball Core Cardio from the P90X One on One series. The One on One series have fantastic workout that you can sub in for P90X too. Volume 3 is entirely comprised of "test" workout for the new P90X2 workout.
MBCC is a short workout of about 25 min so I knew I could muster myself up in the morning to hit it. Tomorrow morning I may do an Insanity Asylum Volume 1 workout.
