I've read that new habits take a month to form. Over the weekend I saw a post somewhere (pinterest?) that listed some healthy eating habits you should try to create over several months. First, was no fast food. I already barely eat fast food b/c of my gluten sensitivity so I'm going to combine that with the second habit, no candy. So, in December the healthy habits I want to form are no fast food and no candy. I'll report my progress and create a new healthy habit in January. I think breaking bad habits one month at a time will be much easier than trying to go "cold turkey" on all sugars and "bad" foods at once. This candy thing will be a tough one for me but I bet I'll see results if I cut out the unnecessary candy bowl at my desk!
