A December to Remember!

It’s December – it’s just natural this time of year to want to make a difference, to give, to spread a little joy, and to be happy. With those goals in mind, I have decided that I am going to make December a month to remember. I have set a goal to “mindfully” do something different, out of my ordinary routine, every day this month. I’ll have to be creative and daring.

With that in mind, I am going to challenge myself. I’m challenging myself to take it up a notch, and to pump some extra vigor and excitement not only into my life, but the lives of others, and really make this month count! I’ve got a short list to begin working with, and will be concentrating on one thing each day.

Would you like to join me in this challenge? I would love some company! The more the merrier! If you have any ideas for this challenge to ourselves, please feel free to give me an idea. I hope you’ll check back in each day with anticipation and excitement as to what awaits. Let’s have fun with this!

So here’s my first challenge:

Today I challenge you to make someone smile.

I know what you're thinking already . . .That's so easy!

I know this seems small, and that's a good way to begin. Do you realize you MUST begin with yourself? How often do we think along those lines? We usually think about others, and their happiness. We need to think about that also for ourselves today and every day. Doesn’t the happiness of others begin with us? By beginning with concentrating on our own happiness, how can we NOT HELP but spread a little bit of that around?! If we are happy we'll make those around us and others happy.
