Well, not so much. This past weekend my husband and I went away for the weekend - to a favorite spot which normally involves much eating, drinking, and absolutely no elliptical.
This weekend was no exception - lots of eating, lots of drinking, and the closest thing to a "workout" was hanging out in the hotel Jacuzzi with the occasional dip into the pool to cool off.
However, I did eat mindfully (rather a change for me on vacation (grin)), eating only what I liked, stopping when I was full, and overall just eating and drinking a little more slowly. It worked! Who knew. We walked a lot, stopped for snacks and again, I just ate a little more slowly and clearly must not have snarfed down as much as usual.
