I reap what I sow

Monday, December 03, 2012

I am out to change my lifestyle I am not on a diet, diets in the past have failed I do not believe in deprivation or making one feel bad nor guilty in losing weight, this needs to be a positive time in my life and a learning time and i am doing exactly that.

Over the course of four years of going through so many battles , with husband unemployed etc,, things I have been writing about over and over, God has and is protecting us and taking care of us every day!!

We are not born by accident we are planned by our Creator and are born for a reason , everyone has potential!!

What am I going to sow in my life and in the life of others this week:

For me: I am going to eat breakfast every day , which I usually do but I am going to be mindful and plan my meal.

I am going to clean and organize my kitchen and make it work for me

For others: I am going to be aware of what others need and people who cross my path and really listen , and fulfill the life of someone else in order to bring me fulfillment , wheather its in giving a box of food, giving my time, or just a listening ear, or a smile .

What will I sow ? I will have love , happiness and fulfillment in my own life and good health!

I think you are on the right track, I no longer think of myself as being on a "diet". I have changed the way I think of it as a "life style" change. And it has worked for me.

I try to really listen when I ask "how are you doing" to someone instead of just going through the motions.

And no matter how little I feel we have there is always someone out there worse off then we are. A bag of canned goods/dry goods dosn't cost that much so once a month I take a sack to the food bank. And a child at this time of year should not go with out a little something under the tree, or gloves or hat or a warm coat. This is something I can do with out hurting us.

Keep up the good work.
