Happy, Happy, Happy

So I am making progress. I have worked with my trainer. Have kept pretty much to my commitment I made to myself on my workout schedule. Only missed one week because I was sick. Work with him again this week and will learn a new routine. I have lost inches! I can now fit into a pair of jeans that I couldn't even begin to get near buttoning! My yoga pants are incredibly loose. I have more energy and even look forward to working out! I really never thought I would say that. Even when I was younger I was never one to work out (or run during gym class). I now would like to work towards trying to run. Hmmm. The possibilities... I met this last week with a dietician and she gave me a guideline for my meals. I am type 2 diabetic, so we are going to see how my blood sugars do with the meal plan. We are not going with counting carbs, but rather with food groups, such as 1 grain, 2 oz. protein, etc. Having a little difficulty with breakfast - I need to do some night before setting up I think. Finals are next week, then no classes again until mid January. I do need to study for and take the GRE (graduate entrance exam) during break, but I also plan on going to the gym at least 4 times per week. I feel awesome!! Until next time... Christy

Got to make sure those yoga pants don't fall off while you're working out! LOL Nice non-scale victory!! Good luck with finals!
