Ok, I know no post on the weekend and it looks suspicious. Honestly, things went really well! I even stayed away from a Christmas Tea at church with some of the yummiest scones and cookies on the planet. I picked up some really cute dishtowel angels with potholder wings (LOL) and got the heck out of there!
I have written up my menu for the next nine days. This one little exercise makes my life so much easier. If I can't think of anything but falling face first into a bowl of ramen when I'm running around and need lunch, I remember , "hey I have a plan and there is some (insert primal friendly food here) in the fridge!" Here's today's menu and I'm going to take a spin on the stationary bike in a few minutes here.
Breakfast- grain free granola with almond milk
Lunch- egg salad in lettuce cups with celery and pepper slices, an orange, and kale chips
Snack- chai latte made with coconut milk
Dinner- Moroccan chicken with cauliflower "rice" and asparagus
I made some avocado-banana chocolate pudding and it looks really yummy and chocolately, but it's not for today. Actually, I am going to try it out on my hubby because he was just griping last night that he could go for something creamy like cheesecake or ice cream. Yeah, he's really helpful. sigh.
