My definition of an intellectual is someone who can listen to the William Tell Overture without thinking of the Lone Ranger.

I know it as both, having grown up watching the show as well as playing an LP of the William Tell opera (and spinning like a loon too it - literally spinning in circles as kids until we were dizzy.)

Somehow I don't think I qualify as an intellectual. emoticon

I guess I won't qualify for the intellectual status , because I am old enough to remember "The Lone Ranger." And who can ever forget that theme music.
