The Holidays are officially here. Started out the month long celebration with our annual family trip to the Christmas parade at the beach. It's always a fun time for our family, it's a tradition, complete with silly hats, glow necklaces, my famous homemade sausage and cheese biscuits and cookies. (I only bake once a year, lol) and we enjoy the goodies at the parade with a large thermos of hot cocoa. This year I was so excited to take my GS to his first parade. Christmas is always more fun thru the eyes of a child, and of course, I'm just a bid kid myself. Missed having my oldest teenage grandson there, but he was the lucky one that got to go to Busch Gardens Christmastown, there's always next year. I was so happy to also have my dad come along with us this year, it is so nice having him living back in Virginia. Here's the story in pics.
My DD and I, this is her last Christmas at home before she gets married, sniffle, sniffle.
My sweet youngest grandson, just started walking this week, couldn't keep him from toddling everywhere.
My chunky pie is snacking on a biscuit. So much fun chasing him around.

The parade started and he was mesmerized.
He fell asleep on Auntie Jessica's lap half way thru the parade, he was so worn out from all the excitement. I was a little tired too since I had started my day with a 6 a.m. 8-mile long run with the SIL.
After the parade we all gathered at my house for pizza and we watched the movie "ELF". No matter how many millions of times I watch that movie, I still LAUGH. What a great way to kick off the holidays
