After cleaning house for hours, I looked outside and noticed the sun was shining on an otherwise very coudy and windy day. So I decided it was time for a little bit of "me time". I just bought a new bike and decided to take it for a spin. I live in the country so I have the perfect place to ride without having to transport my bike somewhere. So I jumped on the bike and rode a couple of miles to get the feel of my new bike and see how my legs would hold up. Just 2.5 miles down the road was all but it felt great!

I met another couple on bikes enjoying the unusually warm December weather and a neighbor out walking her dog. I also noticed that she had marked out a 5K run on the road over the holiday. I didn't get a chance to talk with her but she is obviously training. The wind in my face was refreshing and the air was cool. It was a great ride and I hope the weather will be nice enough for me to ride again next weekend.
