This morning I was shocked to find out that I gained about 3kg in the last three weeks. I could have known, since last week I noticed I had gained 2kg in the two weeks before. And 14 days ago I found out that I gained 1kg in one week. So it shouldn't have come a surprise. Yet it did.

So, as there are only 29 days left of 2012 I have made some Almost-New-Year's-resolutions:

1) I will be kind to myself and to my body.
2) I will drink 8 glasses of water a day and feel energized all day, not needing any caffeine.
3) I will eat 5 servings of fruit/veggies a day and notice how healthy that feels.
4) I will go to the gym 3x per week and remember that I usually actually enjoy going to the gym.

This morning I started with a Spinach Cheese Omelet and 10 minutes ago I had an apple. For lunch I packed a Turkey Hummus Red Pepper Sandwich and my three o'clock snack will be a banana. I will have lots of broccoli for dinner and some yogurt with a pear as my dessert.

So resolution number 3 for today: CHECK!
