Grocery bags

Monday, December 03, 2012

Yesterday my grocery bags arrived – ordered them when I met this compay woman on the boat last week.

It is "locally produced" food, and the menu for the week is interesting – today "almondigas" is the main course – it is obviously meatballs with some spanish spicing... The food is not particulary "Healthy" – I could have chosen the "LCHF"-menu too, maybe I will try that some other week... but the idea is that I get two servings of every meal, which means that I cook dinner and put the other in a lunch box for the next day. The good thing is that I don΄t have to think at all, just cook.

I sat all day yesterday, my feet hurt so bad I just limped when trying to walk. Resting a day was very good for them, I think I can walk normal again today. It will be a busy day at work, just hope that I have not misjudged things too much... I am still euforic from that show although the empty feeling after a great kick like that is also present.

I like the meal idea, it sounds easy and enjoyable. I can't see the company name on the bags. What is the name of it?

So convenient, and it works for you so that's all that matters, and rest your foot, elevate it, and ice it down if necessary.

I hope the meals work out well for you. Will be interested in following that as it progresses. Take care of those feet! It's important for so many reasons! I understand that emptiness after a great and emotional high. My best defense it to dive right in and stay busy. It happens to me after big family gatherings but not as intense now as it was when I was newly single. Life is good. Be well.

Great idea, with the meals. I think you are doing yourself a favor with these!
I'm thinking good thoughts for your poor feet.

As with any new venture it will probably take a while for you to sort out what works for you, what doesn't - trial and error time! Sounds like this can't be beat, though: reducing the carbon footprint, both for producing the food and shopping for it... your time and convenience... built-in portion control... and as you say, not having to think about it, just do that day's meals. Wonder if they have something like that here--?

What company is this with? I thought I had tried almost diet and home delivery out there. Can't read the bag names...that's what happens when you get old... emoticon
