This week was a challenge for me mostly because I had gained the week before.
Food was better but I discovered why my calorie range was going up. When I adjusted my fitness to reflect what I was doing, they increased the calories to make sure it was adequate for my activity. I brought the fitness back down and the calories range dropped. Now I am losing again.
Now I just have to go shopping. I'm scrapping to bottom of the barrel for a few days. I got up early today to go but the kid had taken the car and didn't get back in time before I had to go to work.
I haven't walked to work but have been walking so I am going to say that it is covered.
I haven't done a meal plan yet but will before I go shopping. Must stay on top of that one!
Water and sleep still good so I will remove and replace with meal plan.
I will also add in the strength training as a goal. I did do my one day plus one so I am happy with that.
So now with what I have learned through SP.
The group is what helps people make it. The more you are involved the better and the more you learn.
At first I kept right on eating what I was before just trying to stay in range for quite a while but now I have change what and how I eat!
I know there are many people who eat different types of meals (low carb and vegans for example) I am slowly learning how to eat better. This is more than just add more fruits to meals, I thought I was eating healthy.
The calcium and protein and carbs being balanced is a whole new thing for me. I am discovering more and better foods. I was eating whole wheat before and hadn't had sugar for years but I needed more. I have added spinach salads, tuna and even grains like quinoa.
I am still learning and adding variety now, which is lacking a bit but I know it is an ongoing process. I have learned that it is really a lifestyle change.
Not just read it or seen people say it but really learned it!
Fitness is more than just jumping around a bit.
I have rediscovered running and even ran a 5K this year. Can you believe it?
I've never been afraid of strength training but the cardio turned me off. I really disliked getting sweaty.
I have browsed exercises to learn new ones and like the videos available.
Other things different about me now?
I look younger (I think) and I am happier (I know) and I have more energy, less colds and better balance among other things.
What I do for SP and my friends?
I try to huddle every day
I comment, like or at least read every one of the blogs my friends write.
I read the feeds over the last day and find one extra blog to read.
I feel that no one should have 0 comments on their blog and purposely look for them.
The most important things is
