I adore cooking! I am having a great time adapting recipes to make them healthier. Today I did makeovers of two recipes, both of which you can find under my "Favorites" section (upper right, select More and then Favorites).

This is SO GOOD. The only thing keeping me to just one serving is that it is so full of flavor I don't have to eat a lot to enjoy it.

Saving the pie tasting until after my workout, will come back and edit when I have actually tasted it. Sure LOOKS good.

UPDATE:

Between the crust and the tofu, the pie was really not much like my usual pumpkin pie. Pumpkin doesn't overpower the tofu taste as completely as chocolate does (maybe more pumpkin, less tofu?).

However, it is a very good low cal/high fiber/high protein snack and actually quite delicious as long as I don't EXPECT it to taste a certain way.

I will definitely keep experimenting with different flavor combinations with tofu and the Fiber One crust, because it is less than 100 calories and strangely healthy (except for the Splenda), and the chocolate version was SO FREAKING AWESOME.

    Yum! Can you make me one of those pies please? Except I'll take it in chocolate since that's the flavor that comes most highly recommended. emoticon

Looks like you're a great cook! I can follow a tried and true recipe with decent results, but with alterations and make-overs I have no luck, so I stand in awe. emoticon

    I like adapting recipes to be healthier too. I'm really looking forward to learning to make some raw recipes, in 2013--one of my goals is going to be to try a new raw recipe each week
