Weekly meals planned out.... let's do this!

I have all my breakfasts and lunches planned and made for the whole week! What a great feeling! I'm trying something new.... eating the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day. I'm not crazy about it.... but it will be easy to stick to, lean, and high in protein. For breakfast: whole wheat bun with southwestern egg beaters, turkey bacon, spinach, and tomato. Total including coffee creamer: 276 calories. Lunch is 4oz chicken with black beans, salsa, green chiles, and taco seasoning with mixed vegetables on the side for a total of 260 calories. This should leave plenty of room for snacks of apples, string cheese, and baby carrots along with various dinners. Hopefully all this prep work will pay off!

    Layla-Marie, I will have to try that! Last week was Italian chicken with a couple small potatoes slow cooked with the chicken in broth and broccoli. I have a feeling I will get chickened out pretty quickly though and have to start looking for alternatives. Thanks!

    It is easy to eat the same for breakfast and lunch as long as you change it up every week! I love baked sweet potatoes with taco seasoning, greek yogurt, and black beans!
