Eating Holiday Blues

Sunday, December 02, 2012

I made it through Thanksgiving and lost 2.8lbs that week. It does pay off to keep working out and enjoying Thanksgiving food, but not overdoing it.

Now it's the month of December and it's important to stay on track. In order to stay on track I am going to treat this like any other month. It's now May ha.

I figured I would plan week by week with my exercise plan. No matter what I am going to get in 4 days at the gym. The week of Christmas will be the hardest week, since we are going to St.Louis on Friday and Saturday. School will be out and I will work my part-time job, so I should be able to schedule 4 days with no problem and possible use the treadmill at home on Christmas morning.

I started my December exercise plan today.
Here are my goals to beat these Eating Holiday Blues...
*Gluteal setting on elliptical
*Continue to work on running two days a week. I can run 1.5 miles and I want to continue pushing for more.
*Stairmaster level 7
*Drink 8 glasses of water everyday. No excuses!
*Pack my food on days I work my second job.
*Keep any eating out to a minimum no more than once a week.
*Strength training 3 days a week for 30 mins.
*Try for a better 5k number this month 38:08 is my best. I will do them on the 9th and 23rd.
*Lose 6-7lbs

Do the squat challenge with me! If you are just starting then do extra today and catch up!
