I'm stuck, and need to break free!!

I have been losing and regaining the same 5 lbs for nearly two months now!! I just can't seem to get to 60 lbs lost!! My goal for the year was 75 lbs, so that's off the table...at this point I'm hoping for 65 lbs. lost by Dec. 31st. I've changed my Spark Coach program over to Plateau Busting, so hoping that will get me over the stall I am in. I've read numerous articles and blogs about what to do, but can't seem to get past this. This time of year definitely adds to the challenge of moving forward and I'm dealing with lots!! of stress with family and work situations. I am discouraged, but I refuse to give up!!!

    Even if you haven't reached your weight loss goal, you have accomplished so much! I am so impressed and so proud of you. Don't lose sight of all the NSVs!

    I didn't know there was "plateau busting" on Spark Coach...good to know. Set mini goals...go over your stats and look for places where you can improve. If you're holding water, I've heard that asparagus is great to eat to change that. I recently read a book by a girl who lost 200 lbs and kept it off...and at the end of her weight loss, she was plateauing, and she was told to try asparagus...and she surpassed her ultimate goal. Keep pushing forward...you will break through! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the encouragement! Spark on! emoticon emoticon

    I found that the more I lost, the S-L-O-W-E-R the pounds have come off recently. That's because I'm basically in maintenance mode. It took me 2 full years + to drop my 70+ pounds.

Please remember to give yourself lots of credit and kudos emoticon on the emoticon progress you have already made! Your new photo is so lovely--you are looking *really* good! emoticon

I've also found that when I'm under emotional stress, my weight will take a slight jump up, and it often stays until I can work through and release what's weighing me down in terms of thoughts and feelings. I know you've been dealing with a lot, so I strongly recommend lots of compassion, gentleness and nurturing right now.

I'm confident that you will achieve your goals. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Allow your healthy life to unfold at the pace it needs to.

    Don't give up!

I was there over the summer......for like 8 weeks.....the same 6/8 pounds......I finally busted through......and lost an additional 15 pounds.......I have 20 pounds to go!

I'm not giving up!

    GOOD LUCK if you find the way, let me know. i am a coach potato. well it was hard, because i had physical therapy and strectching that i had to do. DONE with PT. i am going back to the gym. i hear that you need to different exercises to challenge one self. try water exercises, and then zumba. i did zumba gold.
gotta get back into that.

  I have done REALLY well this year, but my momentum has definitely slowed in the last 3 weeks. Keep on pressing on.

Besides, 60 pounds is no small matter
